Letter | Appreciation for store and for traffic controllers – Santa Cruz Sentinel

I want to publicly appreciate two entities that have been a big part of my life these last months. One is Trader Joe’s, even crammed with customers everyone gets moved through pretty swiftly; all registers open. And checkers are always cheerful. And they converse. Thank you!

The other is Avila Traffic Control. I move through Capitola Road and Soquel Avenue intersections all the time and I really hate it when I see those guys because of the traffic congestion I have been dealing with for months (how many times are they gonna dig up the roads anyway?) and will have to deal with again. It seems I am always running late, just like the rest of you, but you know what? The Avila people are really good at what they do. And it helps to make a bad situation better. Considering that we distracted drivers turn into idiots half the time, I am sure Avila workers have prevented dozens of accidents. Thank You!

Acoustic Sensor Manufacturers The Sentinel welcomes your letters to the editor. Letters should be short, no more than 175 words. We do not accept anonymous letters. Letter-writers should include their full name as well as a street address and telephone number. We don’t publish those details in the newspaper, but need the information for verification purposes. Occasionally, we reject letters simply because we’ve had so many on the same subject. Submit your letters online at www.santacruzsentinel.com/submit-letters.
