Eurolls showcased its lattice girder lines, which feature an innovative in-line wire production process, during two open house presentations.
Dubai-based International Trade Solutions FZE (ITS) has continued to expand its portfolio of wire products as it targets becoming the leading turnkey solution provider for the wire industry?s capital equipment requirements Fabric Thread Cutting Machine
With representation agreements with some of the world?s best-known capital equipment manufacturers, ITS has the ability to advise and procure machinery for the manufacture of a multitude of wire products and back up those machines with local technical and sales support.
With agencies for manufacturers such as Eurolls SpA, Clifford Machines & Technology, August Strecker, Progress Automation and others, the company has said it is able to advise on solutions for wire mesh (reinforcing, fencing, gabion, chain link, chicken, lattice girder and mining meshes), electro forged gratings, cold rolling, multi-pass drawing, butt welding, rebar cut and bend, stirrups, barbed wire, nails, coat hangers, wire straightening and cutting and just about any application in the wire industry.
According to ITS, in the Middle East it is fast becoming the ?trusted advisor for such equipment?. The company has more than 40 years of experience in the wire machinery and processing industries, and a sales team with the knowledge to provide a reliable one-stop shop for its customer?s requirements.
One of the manufacturers that ITS represents, Clifford Welding Systems, a world leader in machinery in the wire and steel industry, has undergone a name change to Clifford Machines & Technology. The name change has been effected to better reflect the diversified range of machinery that is now being delivered to its customers and express the capabilities and ambitions of Clifford to produce machines and solutions in the wider industrial equipment space.
Iain Ambler, technical director at Clifford Machines & Technology, noted, ?The Clifford name has been linked to the wire and steel industries for the last 50 years, however, throughout this time we have been providing machinery and solutions to business in industries outside this segment.
?Our new name reflects all the history and experience we have in the machine building space and speaks to our capabilities to produce equipment, incorporating cutting edge technologies, with the same Clifford quality, reliability and innovation that our customers have come to expect.?
Clifford recently released its latest offering to the reinforcing and fencing mesh industry, the EMW. The EMW represents a move by Clifford towards targeting cost-conscious industrialists looking for reliable, high-production machinery, without all of the bells and whistles, and within two months of its launch has sold numerous EMW units to customers in Australia, South Africa, Malaysia and the USA.
According to Clifford, sales within its markets for grating welders and precision security fence mesh welders have continued to exceed expectations in spite of the general worldwide economic slowdown.
Another manufacturer represented by ITS, Eurolls SpA has been focusing on advanced integrated solutions which have generated significant interest from major international producers of reinforcement and industrial wires. These solutions have now been strengthened and broadened by Eurolls? acquisition of Vitari in January 2015. Over the past year, Eurolls has seen a succession of important developments culminating in two open house presentations of new high-productivity solutions for reinforcement plant and performance chain welding line. On show at the open house were lattice girder lines with an innovative in-line wire production process, a cold rolling line connected directly to the straightening and cutting unit giving rolled, profiled, straightened and cut wire in one automatic process, static coilers and fully automatic spoolers and a high-resistance chain production line.
Eurolls has further strengthened its presence in the concrete reinforcement sector with the delivery of four new lines. Three were cold rolling/stretching lines, to different clients, with production capacity to 16mm Grade 500B/500C ribbed reinforcement. The fourth line was a high-speed straightening and cutting line with a 6m/sec production of 12m bars.
In the industrial wire sector, Eurolls has commissioned two mirrored multipass lines (16 block each) complete with wire washing units for Inox welding wire. Being able to resolve specific requests and problems has been highlighted by the supply to a client, which specialises in wire for marine applications, of non-stop pay-off and take ups in a treatment plant for ?26mm high carbon wires.
ITS managing director Fabio Firmani said, ?Eurolls? ambitions to lead the market for these machines with unique and innovative solutions created by an experienced and knowledgeable team is really what puts us a step ahead of the rest in meeting our customers requirements.?
